Where It All Began
Inspired by Grandma's Kitchen Crafted for Today's Sweeet Tooth
Cranky Granny's was inspired by founder Sianni's grandmother and a business idea she first developed at fourteen years old. After years of planning, she opened the first Cranky Granny's location in New Jersey in 2017, focused on serving handcrafted cinnamon rolls with creative flavors and made-to-order toppings.
Sianni later moved to Texas to continue growing the brand. After opening and operating a Texas location, she launched the Pflugerville store in 2023 and expanded again with the Cedar Park location in 2026. Today, Cranky Granny's continues to serve fresh cinnamon rolls, coffee, and desserts made throughout the day.

Our philosophy has remained the same since day one: create handmade treats, serve every guest with genuine hospitality, and build a place where people can slow down, connect, and enjoy something sweet.
Our Craft
Freshly Baked Made to Order and Full of Flavor
Every cinnamon roll at Cranky Granny's is made to order and handcrafted fresh throughout the day. Nothing sits. Nothing is reheated. All cinnamon rolls are egg-free with the exception of certain toppings making us one of the few dessert spots in the Austin area that caters to guests with egg allergies.
We keep our menu focused. We serve cinnamon rolls, milkshakes, and coffee and we do them right. From the Peach Cobbler and Banana Pudding rolls to the Cookie Butter and Churro, every flavor is bold, handmade, and built to stand out. We also rotate a new Flavor of the Week every week, so there is always something new to try.
